internship evidence #7
Loud service banners continued. When I showed the event coverage banner to the creative director, I was expecting maybe a few minor notes. Instead, I got a list of thoughtful but very direct feedback—‘This feels too slow here,’ ‘The music doesn’t quite match the tone,’ ‘This shot doesn’t add much to the story.’ At first, it stung a little. But as we talked through it, I realized something important: none of it was personal. The feedback wasn’t about me failing—it was about making the piece better. And the fact that someone took the time to critique it meant they trusted me to improve. That shift in perspective really changed how I approach creative direction.
