Internship evidence #1
On the first day I was thrown right into a real task: product photography using a Panasonic S5iix DSLR. Now, I’ve used cameras before, but this wasn’t just about snapping photos. I had to photograph used equipment, older camera gear and make it look clean and professional for resale. The goal was clarity: sharp focus, clean backgrounds, good lighting, and, most importantly, capturing details like serial numbers. These aren’t glamorous images, but they matter. I quickly realized that the studio setup, lighting placement, backdrop choice, even how the product was angled could make a huge difference in how polished the final photo looked. The first day taught me the importance of preparation and patience. A lot of the time was spent not taking photos, but adjusting moving gear, checking framing, double-checking focus. It’s not fast work, but it’s precise, and that precision is what separates average content from professional content. It made me appreciate just how much detail goes into even the smallest project when you’re doing it right.
