For this assignment students were instructed to Read a chapter of Ernest Boyer’s book College, “The Enriched Major” chapter and answer three questions related to the text. The first question asks what the main tension in the chapter is. The second question is how does the author respond to the tension and for the last question we were asked was to make a text to text connection between the chapter and the course catalog for our majors. I found this assignment really useful for me to look back on when I first started working on the Major exploration project.
