I think this project has gone well for me so far. My uncle gave me a lot of really good information and since the interview was so long I have a lot to choose from which gives me a lot of creative freedom. Also for my research it helped me a lot when drafting my intro and outro to look at all the websites/ articles online that are about my uncle and his time as chief technology officer of the Air Force. It also helped to discuss the information with my mom to see what else she knows. I have my intro outro and narration recorded. I like my intro and outro but I think I need some more narration to help the piece flow better. I also think that I need to add some more sound effects. I thought of a few in the list above but I need more. Some characteristic sounds of the Air force or maybe since there are a few parts talking about AI and cybersecurity I could Add some technology like sounds I will have to look into that. Also I think I should find another song that somewhat matches the other one I have picked so it’s not just the same song in the background the whole time. As far as putting things into garage band and editing it down to a 6-13 minute rough cut I am not there so I need to work on that. But I have a good Idea of the way that I want to put those clips in there, the specific parts I want to include and the general outline for how I want the story to go. Even though I have already picked out the main points that I want to include there is definitely a lot more work to be done on trimming it down so it can fit in the time constraint.
