300 Words Why did I chose my Uncle Mark Maybury?

I chose my Uncle Mark for the family interview because I know he would have a lot of interesting things to talk about. Also I was just curious to know more about him because to me he’s just the guy who taught me how to drive and it’s hard for me to remember sometimes how successful he is and how many people respect and look up to him. He’s so smart that I don’t know what he’s saying half the time. Everything that comes out of his mouth sounds like it came from a textbook if you know what I mean. I also knew that he would be good to choose because he is used to doing interviews all the time so he’s comfortable with it and has good equipment for it. I knew that he would give me plenty of information to work with and not just yes or no answers. I honestly didn’t know where the interview would take us but I had a general idea based off of the questions I came up with for him. I knew he would be excited to talk about the places he has traveled, the planes he has flown in and the initiatives that he helped start. I was also curious to know if he had any regrets or if he thought anything was particularly hard or unfair about his time working for the Air Force because he doesn’t talk about it a lot but when he does he just talks about all the good stuff.  I wanted to know the good and the bad, the pros and the cons. I was also curious to see if he would take the position again if it was offered to him. Overall I picked my uncle because I knew he has good stories and is reliable, he is used to doing interviews sometimes even in front of thousands of people and I knew he had good equipment for it.
