One minute story in the Form of a List Reflection

One minute story in the Form of a List Reflection

For this podcast really the only directions that were given was to make a 0:45-1:15 long story in the form of a list. These directions are very broad and leave a lot of room for interpretation. Which I actually enjoy, this also leaves a lot of room for creativity and I think there will be a lot of different approaches to this assignment which is fun. At first when I was trying to come up with ideas I was going to just list a bunch of movies that I enjoy but I thought about it some more and thought that it would be more fun to talk about all the movies that my dad worked on during his career as a First Assistant Director in the movie business. I don’t get to talk about my dad a lot anymore and I love sharing all his accomplishments because I am so proud of the work that he did and he is the main reason why I want to do what I want to do when I graduate college.  I thought it would be weird if I just started listing random movies with no context so I had my roomate have a fake conversation with me to give the podcast some background which I think worked well. This is normally the conversation that I have with people when they ask what I want to do after college and why I want to do it. I honestly wish that I could have made the podcast longer so I could include all the TV shows that he worked on as-well because he did some pretty cool ones. If there is one thing that I could change I would say that my voice in the intro and outro don’t match my voice when I’m listening off the movies. I tried to re-record the intro and outro several times to make it match but it just wasn’t working. Overall this was by far the easiest podcast that we have done so far and I really enjoyed making it. (Note this screen shot was taken before I trimmed the last section of the music but the podcast was completely finished besides that)
