  1. Reflection of dry-dry-run 5 pts. 5

The first thing I noticed watching this is how much I’m clapping and waving my hands around which is distracting. Some hand gestures can be good but not every five seconds. Also I don’t think that the introduction is not totally solid and we could do a better job preparing the viewer for what’s next. I also think that mixing up our information better would help with the flow instead of it just being Tim and then me and Caden going back and forth. It would probably work better if we figured out a way to all go back and forth. The biggest piece of advice I’m taking away from today’s Dry- Dry run is that our information is too general and we need to get more specific about our experiences with the major and why we chose it.

  1. Reflection of dry-run 5 pts.5

I think this was definitely an improvement from the dry dry but for sure needs some work. At least for my speaking parts there are things that I could cut out of to conserve time and stay focused. I’m also thinking while watching this how helpful visuals will be while we are talking about our major. Especially because some people might know little to nothing about our majors. Once we have our parts better memorized that will help with the flow as well. Also I think the ending is a little abrupt to help this I think that the real world examples should move earlier in the speech and instead we should end the speech off on how the majors overlap.

  1. Reflection on the process/role in group 5 pts. 5

I believe that the process of this project went well. I think we had a decent amount of time to plan and execute the project before the due date. My group mates and I met three times outside of class to work on the project. The feedback from the dry runs was very helpful. At first it was hard navigating how we would present with two of the same major and one different but the way we figured it out I think worked very well and I actually learned a lot about aquaculture and aquarium sciences along the way. I will say though that I feel that I did the majority of the heavy lifting with this project and that there were times when I was frustrated by my workload and the lack of effort from my other two group mates.
